Abu Dhabi - A second operator could enter the UAE market to offer mobile telephony alongwith fixed land lines as the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) is working out the legal frame work, clearing the way for competition.
Etisalat recently entered the big market of Saudi Arabia after taking over stakes in Sudan Telecom, Qatar, Zanzibar. It is now eying Pakistan as well as Tanzania.
